The Way Students
“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”
Our Mission:
The Way Students exists to see the see the students of the Denham Springs community come to know, love, and pursue Jesus.
Students are often unmotivated and neglected when it comes to learning what it means to be a follower of Christ.
We often view our students as if they are in a transitional period of “becoming” a believer.
The reality remains that the students of the next generation can be disciples now, with an impact far greater than we can imagine.
Wednesday Bible Study:
Wednesdays from 6-8 pm, we meet in The Way Youth Building where our high schoolers and middle schoolers split up for our small group bible study.
Our goal in this is to not only teach students the Word but also to equip them to be able to study it on their own.
This is a time of conversation, community, and pursuing Jesus together (with coffee and couches too!)
Rm81 Student Service:
Our student service is called Rm81 (roomeightyone), and is built out of the verse Romans 8:1 which says, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
There is no mistake, no failure, and no amount of shame that can possibly come between you and the God who created you.
This service is a time of fellowship for young believers to hang out, play games, worship our Lord, and hear His Word preached. We meet Sundays from 6-8 PM in The Way Youth Building.
